Until recently, science believed the human brain stops growing and begins decaying in adulthood.
Famously In 1928, Santiago Ramón y Cajal, the father of modern neuroscience, proclaimed that the brains of adult humans never make new neurons. “Once development was ended,” he wrote, “the founts of growth and regeneration ... dried up irrevocably. Everything must die, nothing may be regenerated.”
New research says that isn't true.
About the Workshop:
The genesis of the workshop was a conversation with an American Psychologist (Brant Cortright, PH.D)who said he was stunned about how little the public knows about Neurogenesis. In his opinion this was mainly because the research is hidden behind academic pay walls and arcane studies.
What it says is Neurogenesis is real and that there are a number of food, activities and experiences that promote it and research backs it up.

The workshop is animated by Albert Nerenberg and Joey Kasz (Joyful).
